Zazole® Vaginal Cream 0.4% is indicated for the local treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (moniliasis).

As Zazole® Vaginal Cream 0.4% is effective only for vulvovaginitis caused by the genus Candida, the diagnosis should be confirmed by KOH smears and/or cultures.

Candidiasis, Vulvovaginal -- Infection of the VULVA and VAGINA with a fungus of the genus CANDIDA.

Vulvovaginitis -- Inflammation of the VULVA and the VAGINA, characterized by discharge, burning, and PRURITUS.

Candidiasis -- Infection with a fungus of the genus CANDIDA. It is usually a superficial infection of the moist areas of the body and is generally caused by CANDIDA ALBICANS. (Dorland, 27th ed)

Patients known to be hypersensitive to terconazole or to any of the components of the cream.
