The Resounding Health web site is a work in progress, brought to you by a group of physicians and computer scientists who believe that there is a revolution brewing in the way health care is sought and delivered, and that this change is being led by the creation of the ePatient -- people who uses all the capabilties of modern-day information technology to enhance their understanding of medical conditions and diseases, and, by becoming better informed, play an active role in their own well-being.

The Resounding Health web site uses many techniques to enhance a user's search for medical information beyond those facts that they may already know, and attempts to break the "how do I know how to ask about what I don't know about?" loop common to generic search engines.

We have seeded our website with information from various high-quality medical sources. Chief amongst these has been the National Institues of Health (NIH). As users add information directly (via user-authored Casebooks) or indirectly via bookmarking medical information on the web our software evaluates the new information and links it into its ever expanding web of medical knowledge. This knowledge is made available directly to visitors to our site.
